MATERIALS MICROANALYSIS AND MICRO-FABRICATION LABORATORIES
Facility to serve the local microelectronics, optoelectronics, biotechnology and science communities with equipment capable of analysis on the micron, sub-micron and nano scales. The electron microscopy analysis equipment are enhanced with special computer controlled heating-straining specimen holders that permit accelerated testing and in-situ experimentation. The Micro-fabrication facility includes a computer controlled focused ion beam workstation capable of creating 3 dimensional structures on the micron and nanometer scales.
