Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Imaging
Applications are invited for a Research Associate or a Postdoctoral Fellowship (depending on experience). The successful candidate will contribution to the development of non-rigid image registration algorithms, and their applications to tracking and quantifying cardiac motion and deformations in 4D echocardiography and MRI. This position is part of a 5 year NIH grant.
Required skills : PhD degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Science, Medical Imaging or related fields, Knowledge of image processing, non-rigid image registration and medical imaging, Programming skills in Matlab and C++, Strong record of relevant publications. My research interests broadly include machine learning and compute vision areas. My current work is mostly concentrated on non-rigid image registration and shape alignment methods.

I received my B.S. and M.S. from Dnepropetrovsk National University (DNU), Department of Radiophysics (RFF), Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, under supervision of Dr. Alexander M. Akhmetshin.
